Reads EXIF, XMP, IPTC, and JPEG comments, plus PNG text and eXIf chunks. Removal rewrites the file byte by byte, dropping only the metadata segments and leaving the compressed image data exactly as it was, so a cleaned photo is pixel for pixel identical to the original. Removing location alone empties the GPS directory in place and does not change the file size at all. Everything happens in this tab and no file is ever uploaded.
